Dear Brothers:
It is my honor to serve you as Master of the Lodge in 2002. I thank you for your confidence in electing me. I will certainly endeavor to continue the excellence of the preceding Masters of Coconut Grove Lodge.
We will continue with the practice of having a family dinner night on the third Monday of the month, which is our second Stated Communication. I cordially invite all Brothers their wives, children, family and friends to join us for a great meal some fellowship and good times. This will commence with the meeting of February 18, 2002. More information will be available in the February Master's letter and Bulletin. Please come and spend some time with your fellow brothers.
In the month of January we have two great events. The Installation of officers on Saturday, January 5, 2002, with R\ W\Dale I. Goehrig coming from Orlando to be the Installing Officer. Dinner will be at 6:30 pm at the Lodge Building with the Installation to follow immediately after. The second event is the Past Master's Dinner to be held, again, at the Rusty Pelican Restaurant in Key Biscayne, with dinner at 6:30 pm and the ceremony after. This year we will be (roasting) Honoring W\Saul Montes Bradley, our retiring Master (I think he can take it). If you have some material on the retiring Master that you would like to share that evening please let us know. Please join us for either or both of these wonderful evenings. It is important that you call the Secretary at 305-871-7112 to confirm your attendance.
I wish to thank all our active Brothers and encourage them to continue with their good work and support of our Lodge. For our not so active Brothers, come on back, we need you. Looking forward to seeing you in Lodge.
